Btw, a thought on your "thoughts" - how can someone who speaks at least three languages fluently, is an inspiring teacher, a BRILLIANT actor, can write so well as to make even the most dull subjects highly entertaining, has a college degree, keeps his audiences riveted even to his stream of consciousness tweeting, and "never lets anyone tell me no" honestly say that he has no marketable skills? Just saying, Jeff...
Don't know how it would fly in SLC but we've had some fun with a drum circle with some homeless guys in Golden Gate Park, SF, CA (One of the many perks of coaching an improv troupe). Also check out America's offering of spontaneous entertainment with Improv Everywhere. http://improveverywhere.com/missions/spotaneous-musicals/
oh how i love concerts a emporter - i'm a long-time fan. i've found so much good stuff on there. i always like the off-the-cuff acoustic exposure to a group - it's usually so much more authentic than they're "here you go, masses" stuff.
